Residential Cockroach Control
One roach in daylight means more behind the wall. Our cockroach control finds the nest and clears it, rather than scattering them about. Ask us today.

Identifying Cockroach Activity
Roaches avoid light, so what you see is a fraction of what is there. These are the three signs homeowners notice first.
Droppings Like Ground Pepper
Small dark specks along the backs of drawers, in cabinet corners and under the sink. The finer the specks, the more likely you are dealing with German cockroaches.
A Musty, Oily Smell
A heavy greasy odour that gets stronger near the kitchen or under the sink. It comes from the population itself, so it grows as the numbers do.

Egg Cases and Shed Skins
Brown capsule-shaped egg cases glued into cracks and behind appliances, with pale empty shells nearby. Both mean breeding indoors rather than passing traffic.

Cockroach Control Solutions
Gel bait, void treatment and moisture control. Which cockroach treatment leads depends entirely on the species.
Gel Baiting
German cockroaches need a bait-led approach. Gel goes into the cracks and voids the population is living in, and it moves through the colony rather than sitting on a surface. Spraying them instead is what scatters a nest into three new ones.
Crack and Void Treatment
Dusts and targeted materials go into appliance motor housings, cabinet voids, the space behind the fridge and around plumbing penetrations. These are the places a roach spends the day, and treating anywhere else is treating the wrong address.
Exclusion and Moisture Control
American and Oriental roaches come in from outside, so the work is sealing entries and drying the places they want. Dry drain traps, gaps under doors and damp crawl spaces are the usual three, and none of them is fixed by a spray.
How Our Cockroach Control Services Work
Four stages, and we do not close a German cockroach job until the monitors come back clear.
Step 1
Inspection
We track the nesting zones down to appliance motors, cabinet voids, the space behind the fridge and plumbing penetrations, and record where the activity actually is.
Step 2
Species Identification
German, American or Oriental. This decides everything that follows, because a population breeding indoors and one walking in from a drain need opposite treatments. Getting this wrong is the single most common reason a cockroach treatment fails.
Step 3
Treatment
Gel baits, dusts, targeted materials and monitors, chosen for the species and placed where the roaches are rather than where they were seen.
Step 4
Follow-Up and Monitoring
German infestations need a return visit to check sticky monitors and deal with newly hatched nymphs, because no treatment kills eggs. We confirm elimination before closing the job.
Every home gets the full cycle, no shortcuts and no half measures.
Why Homeowners Choose Conquest Pest Services for Cockroach Control
Conquest Pest Services has run residential cockroach control for more than twenty years, and the call we take most often is from somebody who has already tried. They bought a spray, they used it, and for about a week it looked like it had worked. Retail aerosols are mostly repellent-based, which means they scatter a nest rather than clear it, and they do nothing at all to the eggs. A fresh batch hatches, and the problem restarts somewhere new. Proper cockroach pest control works the other way round. We identify the species first, because a German infestation breeding indoors and an American roach walking up a dry drain need completely different treatment.
Then we bait, treat the voids the population is actually living in, and come back to monitors. Our technicians are licensed and insured, and if roaches are still showing after treatment, we return and deal with it. Ninety-seven percent of our customers stay with us year after year. How to Prevent Cockroaches From Returning
What you can do between visits to keep a treated home clear.
Fix the Water First
Fix leaking faucets, sink traps, and any standing water you can find. Roaches need water more urgently than food, and a slow drip under a cabinet will sustain a population on its own.
Keep Unused Drains Filled
Run the taps in rarely used sinks, tubs, and floor drains every few weeks. A dry trap is an open pipe, and it is the route American and Oriental roaches take indoors.
Clean Behind the Appliances
Pull the stove and refrigerator out twice a year and clean behind and beneath them. Grease and crumbs collect there, and the warmth from the motors is exactly what draws a nest.
Break Down Cardboard Straight Away
Break delivery boxes down and get them out of the house the same day rather than stacking them. Corrugated cardboard is shelter and food at once, and the flutes inside are a favorite place for egg cases to be glued out of sight.
Seal the Gaps and Shared Walls
Seal the gaps around pipework, baseboards, and shared walls with silicone caulk. In an apartment or a duplex, this matters because it closes off the route roaches use to travel between one unit and the one beside it.
